- Take outside 2 yarns on the left and move to the center, crossing over 2 yarns. Take outside 2 yarns on the right and move to the center, crossing over 2 yarns. Repeat steps.

Row 2: ch1, 2 sc in each sc, slst to first st (12)

Row 3: ch1, *2sc, sc* repeat** 6 times, slst to first st (18)

Row 5: ch1, *2sc, sc 2* repeat** 9 times, slst to first st (36)

Finish off

Straps:

Step 1:Take yarn, and fold into 18 lengths that are 3 inches longer than your desired hanging length.

Step 2: Cut only one side leaving a set of 9 loops on one side. Tie a knot so that loops can be used to hang.

Step 3: Divide into 3 groups of 6 yarns.

Step 4: Using 2 yarns as one, 3 strand braid into 3 braids and tie a knot 3 inches from ends

Step 5: Use strings to tie 3 ropes evenly around top row of holder. Trim fringe as desired.
